Coachella house
Each year Interscope + Capitol Records throws an exclusive party during the first weekend of Coachella, as an oasis for artists and friends of the label. The 600+ person guest list includes key influencers, industry executives, tastemakers, and artists. For this project, I led the design and execution of creating co-branded packaging for the partnership.

Process & challenges
Challenge
The goal of this project was to connect Voluspa’s brand identity with the visual language of Coachella House 2025. My exploration included various typographic treatments and visual references from vintage mid-century modern Palm Springs postcards and hotel signs.
The key pain points of the current program:
• Constrained to use exiting packaging
• Limited real estate to brand and create an impression with guests
Outcome
Working with our existing packaging and a quick turnaround time, created a custom coverup label to place on the front of our primary packaging that tied both brands, vintage colors, and the fragrance collection motif (the embossed star on the box). I focused on evolving our existing packaging rather than designing entirely from scratch, ensuring continuity while embracing the Coachella house theme. The final concept brought Voluspa’s iconic embossed star into the label, echoing vintage Palm Springs hotel iconography to create a nostalgic yet brand-aligned design.

Challenge
The goal of this collaboration was to capture the attention of the guests at the Coachella house party and created cobranded packaging that highlight the partnership between Voluspa, Capitol Records, and Interscope Records.
The key pain points of the current program:
• Constrained to use exiting packaging
• Limited real estate to brand and create an impression with guests
Outcome
I designed a double sided sleeve using pearlecent stock to give the print and etherial look and feel. The outside of the sleeve highlighted the brand partnerships, the inside and was flooded with the “Wildflowers” iconic fragrance pattern. The final look resulted in a cohesive and clean look while still keeping the original decorative packaging of Voluspa’s Wildflowers candle.
